First of all, I want to address something that a few people noticed late in the voting game. Apparently, there's a bit of an issue with people voting more than once. Obviously, there are few ways to prove it, but (given the information I do have) I'm fairly convinced it was happening.
And I'm extremely disappointed, mostly because I did this just to inject a bit of extra fun into my work. Seeing that people actively tried to manipulate the voting admittedly took something out of it for me. It happened last time I had one of these contests, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
So, where does that leave us? Obviously, I'm going to follow through with the story I promised. However, I will not be doing another one of these contests. It's sad that it came to this, but it is what it is.
That said, I'm sure some of you noticed that I hid the results for the final couple of days of voting. I did that so whoever was doing the bulk voting wouldn't be able to see the goal posts. It's harder to cheat when you don't really have a goal. Or at least that was my thought process. And given that I couldn't restrict voting any more than I already had (via IP address and cookie), it was the only tool left to me.
In any case, this whole thing ended up leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I'm excited about doing the winning story, but I'm still very, very disappointed in the voting process.
So, moving on. The votes ended up like this:
Hypnosis Story: 641 Votes
Businessman/Maid Swap Story: 489 Votes
Gynecomastia Story: 481 Votes
Obviously, the Hypnosis Story won, and I'll be inserting it into the schedule for a 6-20-20 release. There will be more information when I make a post concerning the June Schedule.
I do want to thank everyone who submitted stories and those who voted in good faith. I wish we could do it again.
