I just wanted to let you all know that there's a possibility (which is looking more and more probably with each passing hour) that I'll probably lose power when Hurricane Ida swoops onshore. It's not hitting where I live directly, but it's likely to knock out power and internet, at least for a time. So, if I don't post for a couple of days (after tomorrow), just know that I'm probably just dealing with that. Hopefully, we'll only have to worry about the high volume of rain, but my experiences with hurricanes is that I should probably expect the worst. So, I'll be staying as safe as I can (I'm a bit inland, so I don't have to worry about flooding, at least), and I hope this little post turns out to have been completely unnecessary. But if it's not, just know that I'll try to let you all know what to expect.
