I just published a new book, called "The Island". It follows a renowned explorer who, along with his wife and his longtime companion, searches for an herb that could revolutionize modern medicine. However, when disaster strikes, he finds himself on the brink of death on a deserted island. When he awakes, he finds that the island's inhabitants have some ideas about how to integrate him into their society.

I'm not certain how many of you are members of my site, but for those who are, I wanted to give you all a little update. Right now, the site is down (due to it possibly being hacked; my web host is currently debugging it, and it should be fixed in the next couple of days), so I'll be communicating via this site until it comes back up.
First of all, let me say that I'm okay. A few people have sent me emails in the past couple of days, and I haven't had a chance to respond to everyone. As a lot of you already know, I live on the Gulf Coast, and a couple of days ago, we had another hurricane. Aside from some property damage ( my car that was crushed by a tree), everything is fine. However, as is common with issues like this, I'm without internet access right now. So, I'm trying to deal with the site's issues with a proverbial hand tied behind my back.
That said, I am working on it, and I intend to release the latest story sometime in the next day or so (probably to everyone, regardless of membership status), and I'll continue to work on the next project as well. So, keep an eye on this site, and you'll be updated as I put out fires.
So, because the member site is down right now (due to getting hacked; it's actively being worked on, and, according to my web host, it should be back up in the next day or so [they said it would take up 72 hours from yesterday]), I've decided to ahead and publish the next caption story here. I think I've got three more frames left of this one (will probably post them all tomorrow), and then I'll get back to my normal single-frame captions after that. The next full caption story should come in about 4 or 5 days, assuming I don't hit any snags in my process.
